Inclusive Extensions - A project on design and inclusivity by IMPAKT and New Emergences
This series of events will focus on how art, design and technology can adapt towards difference and inclusivity in society, recognizing all human value and agency. How accessible are our current design practices to people with disabilities, and what needs improvement? These are the core questions in the first discussion event where researchers, artists and designers, of different abilities, exchange ideas from their own field of expertise. Everyone is warmly invited to join and share their thoughts. This event will lay the foundation for a series of three design workshops and a final presentation event by IMPAKT in 2020. The workshops aim for a substantial representation of people with disabilities, in the roles of workshop leader, participant and user.

trans/\code
This evening we will present the outcome of a short-term “flash residency” period for developing performative work that explores the potential for livecoding practice to overlap with other performative disciplines. The event brings together livecoding performers/researchers with accomplished performance practitioners to prototype a new performance concept over the course of two workdays and to perform this work during an experimental concert evening. I will be performing together with Miri Lee. The other duo consists of Jonathan Reus and Maya Fridman.

Bajesdorp Festival 2019
The Bajesdorp Festival is an annual festival in the free space that was found and claimed around the prison guard houses next to the "Bijlmerbajes". The festival this year marks the end of the old Bajesdorp, and the start of the move to the location where the new building will arise, which will house artists and other free thinkers. I am planning to present an installation that brings the memories of the old Bajesdorp and the dreams for the new Bajesdorp together.

MIMIC residency at Sussex University
MIMIC is a research project for the artistic exploration of musical machine learning and machine listening. During this residency I will work with the researchers on how the tools developed in the project can be used in an artistic context, in particular when used in a livecoding context. During the residency I intend to further work on the gestural coding language (GeCoLa) I developed during the Choreographic Coding Lab in May 2019

"Etudes pour le livecoding à une main" at Algo-Rhythms #3
Second performance of this work.
I will perform from a script of RedFrik’s performance “Livecoded supercollider, well practiced” at the LOSS Livecode Festival in Sheffield on July 20th, 2007, as found on Fredrik Olofsson’s website. To make the script suitable for performance in 2019 within the etude-environment, minor adjustments were made in the code to ensure that it would execute and to reduce the line length to fit into the graphical interface.

Fit for the Future
De publieksdialogen van De Nieuwe Utrechtse School proberen een antwoord te geven op de vraag: hoe wordt het gezondheidszorgsysteem ‘fit for the future’?
