Too complex to get symmetric
What seems interesting and relatively easy to do in OpenSCAD on the computer is rather complex and hard to make on the sewing machine. While making the first version of the delta kite, I have to come to the conclusion that the design is too complex to get symmetric. When I fly it, adding a tail makes it a bit more steady in the air, but all in all it seems to tend to one particular side.
However, building this kite helps me figure out the process in detail, to simplify the design, come up with a way to make the pressure sensor and what to pay attention to while sewing the kite. While making the two kites that follow, I can be a lot more precise in the process.
